New lens!!!

I got my new camera lens today! Woohoo!! It's a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 I am so excited to use it! I am updating to a 5D Mark II body as soon as Best Buy has it in stock!

Dominican Republic

I edited some more photojournalistic type work from a Dominican Republic trip from about 3 years ago. The trip was so awesome...I went there with my Uncle Hule and Aunt Loretta, along with one of Hule's classes. So I not only got to me the awesome kids and people in Boma (the little village we were in in the DR), but I also met a lot of other great college kids. I enjoyed them so much I thought about moving to South Carolina. :) But, that didn't happen.

Here's some pictures from my latest engagement session with Melissa & Tristan. I didn't really know either of them, but they were lots of fun to photograph! My friend Hillary knows these two so Hillary came along for the shoot. She ended up in a couple of the shots, but I didn't include those pictures. :)
