Jacob & Beth: Wedding

In June my best friend when I was little, Jacob, got married! His whole family is still great family friends. His wife, Beth, was in Brownie Girl Scouts with  me and we went to high school together where we played soccer together. I was not their photographer, but they let me be sort of a second shooter for them. I'm glad I was able to be at their wedding and take some pictures! I put together four little collages from different parts of the wedding of some of my favorite photos I took. Each collage should open as a bigger image if you click on them.
Enjoy!

Hillary Week 29

All I've got for you this week is a simple week-29-baby-bump photo. Hillary left for Indiana recently to visit friends and family and have a baby shower back there at home. You can tell she's definitely eating for two these days...I drove her to the airport and gave her 3 cookies I had made the night before for a snack while she waited for the plane. All 3 cookies were gone by the time we got to the airport. She regretted it.  :)

Everything is looking good and is on track for Hillary and the baby. She's almost to the final 2 months!!

Baby Hudson: 3 Months

I had the chance to photograph 3 month old Hudson last week and it was lots of cuteness! Babies are not my typical subject, but I'm glad I was able to capture some 3-month memories and enjoyed the new challenge of photographing a baby.

Abby: 12/31/98-7/11/11

On Monday I had to make that incredibly hard decision to let my dog go. I had her for half my life! She was an Alaskan Malamute who lived to be over 12 1/2 years old. Abby wasn't just a pet, but a best friend and a part of the family. She was a complete sweetheart, and anyone who met her immediately fell in love with her. As a puppy, she loved to run, play, wrestle and she was scared of garbage cans! In her youth, if you will, she loved to go on walks, usually she was the one walking the person...she was so strong!...also she loved to chase rabbits and squirrels, on the rare occasion actually catching one...eek! In her older years she still loved going on walks, but they slowed down quite a bit. She also loved to just be around people. She's always loved people, but especially in her last year she constantly wanted to be around them. She always loved her other "siblings" too, and stray animals. One day we caught her cuddling with a stray cat.

While I don't have many pictures from when she was younger, I have tons and tons from the last 3 or so years. Here are just a few of them. I will be getting some puppy/younger year pictures from my mom and probably post them later. Most of these pictures are from the last 2 years, but a few from other times too. If you have lost a pet, think of them and the happy times you had with them as you look at these memories of Abby.

Hillary Week 28

For week 28, we get the treat of reading a precious note to the "little bean" from Jake! Hillary said the baby's been kicking like crazy lately. Her and Jake started their hypnobirthing classes about 2 weeks ago and Hillary really likes it. Hillary has also been working on stocking the nursery with art. Enjoy!

 Fun with the "kids"...
